Cian was delighted when Baloufina took fourth place in the opening competition at CSIO5* Aachen this morning. It was a 1m45 against the clock, and there was a huge starting field of over 80 riders. Cian said afterwards: "It's great to have such a good start at the world's greatest show!"
Splendor gave Cian two good results at the two star show in Hoofddorp, Holland. On Saturday, he produced a 6th place in the Grand Prix, with just a rail down in the jump off, and on Friday a 2nd in the Grand Prix Qualifier.
Baloufina was second in the 1m45 speed class today at the three star show in Norten Hardenberg in Germany. Splendor gave Cian a fourth place on Friday when competing in the 1m50 class. Cian rode Splendor into fifth place on a double clear round in the 1m45 two-phase competition at Balve on Sunday.
Irish Independent Echo Beach gave Cian a first and a second at St. Gallen. On the opening day the mare won the two phase 1m45 competition, and today placed 2nd in the 1m45 speed class. Baloufina also produced a second place on the opening day in the 1m40 speed competition.
