There's no place like home. As you know I've been travelling for the last three months and it's great to return home and have all the horses back at base. The last few days was all about unpacking from Spain and planning each horse’s schedule, work programme, doing farrier and feed lists.
My next show will be Dundalk in three weeks’ time after which the international horses will travel to Europe where they will stay for the summer.
I've organised a yard that will act as a base between the shows and where I will be taking some students and clients with me to train and do shows for the summer.
So while it's a three week break from shows there is always plenty to organise. Also last week I spent two days teaching in Cornwall which I enjoyed. It's great to have a break from shows also as it allows me to get my office and other items all up to date. I even have my piece written for my column for next week’s Irish Field- super organised!
Please check out the gallery page where you can see pictures from Spain and watch my YouTube channel to see some of the rounds from Spain.
Next Sunday afternoon I will be at Thoroughbred Remedies on the Curragh from 2.30 pm promoting Charles Owen riding hats. They are really safe, extremely comfortable and a fraction of the price of other hat companies. If you need a hat I couldn't recommend them enough.
Have a good week,
