More Success At Arezzo

Cian came back to Arezzo for the Global Champions Tour at the weekend, and though he was unfortunate to drop a single pole with Complete in the Grand Prix's opening round, he did have a terrific win with Baloufina on the opening day of the two-star competitions, taking first place in the two-phase 1m40 class.

He followed this with a third place on PS I Love You in the two-star speed competition on Friday, and then moved up a gear to take fifth place in the five-star show's big 1m50 jump-off class the same day with Splendor, jumping a superb double clear.

Cian said later: " I suppose I was unfortunate not to do better in the Grand Prix, but I have no reason for complaint about the other classes, where all the horses performed very well against a truly world-class field."
